ANIMAL OSTEOPATHY
Now located inside the Kean’s K9 Training Facility in North Bay, Ontario for your animal companions!
Andrea Swatton has provided therapeutic services for 7 years, and just completed a year-long post graduate Diploma in Animal Osteopathy from Canadian Academy of Animal Osteopathy in Hamilton. Andrea is ready to offer the same quality of care to your pets, from hounds to horses!
Osteopathic therapy can improve movement, health and vitality in a variety of animals – from working, sporting, athletic, or aging. The principles and practices of human osteopathy apply to all animals: gentle hands-on evaluation and manipulation of the structure (fascia, muscles, tendons, ligaments and joints) to find and release the imbalances/restrictions causing the dysfunction and pain. In turn, the release and rebalancing of the structure frees-up and improves the blood and lymph circulation, and nerve function which allows the body to self-regulate and self-heal.
