Chip Kean & K9 Hugo
Associate Certified Dog Behaviour Consultant, Chief Obedience Instructor, MMM, CD, ACDBC
With over four decades of hands-on experience, Chip's dog training journey began during his service in the Canadian Forces, where he had unique opportunities to work with a CF Kennel Master and Police K9 Trainers learning obedience, tracking, and scent detection. He has led training programs at the Gander Obedience School and the Nipissing Kennel Club. Chip is also the Senior Trainer and Behaviour Consultant for Citadel Canine. As an Associate Certified Dog Behaviour Consultant and Fear Free Certified Professional, Chip is committed to helping dogs and their humans build trust through clear communications, positive reinforcement, a deep understanding of behaviour and how dogs learn.
Lisa Boivin & K9 Haitie
Training Coordinator
Lisa is the organizational heart of Kean's K9. She keeps everything running smoothly, handling client communication, scheduling, and making sure every session is set up for success. With diplomas in both Marketing and Musical Theater, she brings both structure and personality to everything she does. If you've ever called, emails, or booked a session, you've likely already felt how easy she makes the whole process.

Brittany Tattaglia & K9 Freya
Obedience Instructor, RVT
With a professional background as a Registered Veterinary Technician, Brittany brings a deep understanding of animal health and behaviour to every training session. Her personal journey, caring for a dog with severe food allergies, sparked a passion for canine nutrition and compassionate care. She's completed the APDT Dog Trainers Course, hand-on apprenticeship at Kean's K9, and has specialized experience helping dogs through touch desensitization. Brittany is committed to making every dog feel safe, understood, and supported, especially those who need a little extra patience and care.

Andrea Swatton & K9 Murphy
Animal Osteopath, M.OMSc, GDAO
Andrea is a trained Animal Osteopath with seven years of experience in therapeutic care. After completing her Master of Osteopath Manipulative Sciences, she pursued a year-long postgraduate diploma in Animal Osteopathy from the Canadian Academy of Animal Osteopathy in Hamilton. Andrea now brings that same high standard of care to your pet, from hounds to horses! Using gentle, hand-on techniques, osteopathic therapy helps improve mobility, comfort, and overall vitality in animals of all kinds.
